I think this book is so important in the fact that this story is not one commonly known to the public. I don't think people truly understand what the gay community went through during that time and how the AIDS epidemic also affected them. Even if I don't win this book I think this is a poignant version of true crime that even murderinos don't know about. I cannot wait to read this book!
