“Last Call” is an interesting recounting of true crime that targets the gay community during a time when it was fashionable to do so. Well I found this novel a little dry, I think it’s message is important in a world where prejudice runs rampant and people are unforgiving of anyone who is not just like them. I understand that as a true crime novel, The story unfolds almost like a documentary that relates just the facts rather than a personalized, relatable character story. For true crime fans I highly recommend this novel. I think it’s definitely worth the read.
