True crime, especially that pertaining to serial killers, is one of my favorite genres. I also love books set in the NYC of the 80's/90's, so this book is hitting all the right notes for me so far--love the black and white cover of Manhattan at night!
I was hooked into the story a few pages in, as the cast of characters was starting to build and Peter's complicated backstory was rolled out. By the end of the preview, I definitely felt that I needed and wanted to know more about these people and this crime spree, which I had never heard about before this book. This book will definitely be going on my TBR list!
