I am a huuuuge crime buff, and have read many books, listened to many podcasts, and watched many documentaries. It shocked me a bit to read the first look of this novel and realize that I have heard nothing of these crimes. The cover is the first thing that drew me in. Before reading the description, I had an inkling it’d be true crime and I’d enjoy it. I was right. Just reading the description makes me not only want to read the book, but put a passion in me to research this case along with others that affect or ignore members of the LGBTQ community.
