This book is fascinating so far. Especially given that these crimes were largely overlooked at the time because of AIDS, it is awesome that this author put in so much investigation and work into uncovering these stories. The discussion of AIDS in the very beginning reminds me of how people talked about COVID in the early days and how overcautious and sometimes uninformed we all were. Elon Green does a great job of making these real stories emotional by focusing on the people that lived through them.
