I was transported directly into this crime and into the life of the first victim. I appreciated the no-nonsense descriptions and the deep dives into the settings and the backstory of the Peter. I am always a little hesitant to read true crime because I'm not a fan of graphic descriptions of crime, but this book only mentions relevant details and spends most of its time building up to the crime while treating the victims with the utmost respect.
