I don't read true crime--they freak me out to much. That being said, this book is written in a very engaging style, and I appreciate expanding the very cishetero-centric genre of true crime into a focus on queer victims. Again, I'm not going to pick up the rest of the book, but that's a 'me' issue rather than anything attributable to this book.
