Magical realism is always interesting and I think seeing it from the Asian perspective is really fascinating!
I love learning about Asian history and seeing it through the eyes of someone who lives there is not only a great learning experience, but allows me to really get a sense of how magical realism has developed as a genre in China. I'm really excited to read more of this book and I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
