Firstly, the cover of this book is striking and eye catching. This is a book of short stories about China. The first story is about a set of boy/girl twins. The girl is very academic and secures a place at one of the most prestigious universities in China. The boy attends a local, not so highly ranked college. The writing is very good and kept my attention.
