I'm looking into finding more literary fiction to read, especially from more diverse authors / those with differing identities and experiences to mine. I really did like this first story, as it expresses the anguish a sibling feels at watching their family slowly destroy everything they've worked towards. Though I'm typically not a fan of short stories, so I'm not quite sure if I'll enjoy the voice of everything that comes after. Haven't really parsed out my feelings for this one yet, but I'm sure it will be a great read for those who enjoy the genre.
