The writing in this short story is beautiful, the impact of the story powerful. If the other stories are like this one, this isn't a book to be read in one sitting, but spread out with time to think about what one's read. I don't like the cover. I don't find it attractive or meaningful. Perhaps it makes more sense after reading other stories in the collection.
