While I was a little hesitant to start another series when I have so many other series that I have to finish, you really just can't say no to a cover that gorgeous.
So, starting with the cover. Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. And funny I should mention dead, because this mansion is haunted. Which I love the IDEA of, but I would never go into a haunted mansion. I swear, if I was in a horror movie, I would promptly trip on either myself or nothing (which lol I am nothing, so either way I trip on nothing), and be the first to die. I digress.
The plot was absolutely amazing. It gave me horror vibes plus that one retelling of the twelve dancing princesses with like a Lord Understone? I dunno, but kind of like that. So I loved the setting, the descriptions and everything.
Also worth noting is that the main character, Leta, is demi-sexual. Please read it, definitely worth it.
