I did not think much of this book when I first read the snippet a while back but I keep thinking about it. The story is so unusual and has such an odd romance that I really want to finish this story. The cover is so gothic and I love it! The whole package is odd and really feels like a debut novel. Not polished and needs to have some work done but none the less I am still totally caught up in this world and want to know what comes next. I did see the cover for the second book and in the same way I thought it looked interesting and yet was still odd. I probably will not buy this book for the library the first year it is out but if it is still getting some buzz than I will think about adding it to the library. I would be very interested in reading the second series this author puts out since I think that one will likely have the same intrigue but with a bit better writing.
