First I’m drawn in by the artwork on the cover and as I turn the pages I love how the art spills over onto them.

The first two chapters are well written and quickly set the stage for what to expect. Some authors get too wrapped up in the details. Instead, the writing style is seamless and now I’m left wondering where the story is going to go from here. With a last name Graceling the two siblings must be part of the fairy realm. I wonder if their backstory will be filled in as the story unfolds? Like, how do they survive if the parents are both dead? And does Leta have a power she has yet to discover? How does the Lord of the Manor recognize Leta’s brother as one with shadows? Too many questions and I’m left hanging until the book comes out. This looks like a smooth, fun read and I definitely look forward to picking it up. A definite must read for fantasy lovers.
