I love gothic novels. The trope of the isolated manor house with weird happenings gets me every time. I don't always love the gothic novels that I read, but I do love the setting, and I'm always searching for the next great one. I really enjoyed the synopsis and First Look for Lakesedge. It's one that I already had on my want to read list, so I was very excited to see it featured on BookishFirst.
