This seems like it will be a great fall read, haunting and atmospheric with monsters lurking at the edges. I liked the contrast between the dark forces we see seeping out of Arien and the sunlight attributed to the main goddess-type figure. And of course, I love a brooding, mysterious, "is he evil or not" handsome boy that will undoubtedly swoop in as a love interest.
