I love the eerie setting in "Lakesedge," and the lush writing perfectly captures the tone it's going for. Some terrible and exciting things happen in the first chapter, and I'm left with a lot of questions. It's the perfect setup for me--a cursed lake with a "monster" who claims people with shadows. I've had my eye on this book since last year!
