I think the cover is eye catching and interesting. It reminds me of something I’d see on a list of spooky reads for the Halloween season. The summary was a bit dull to me, I’d probably have put the book back on the shelf after reading it but I also would’ve clocked this as a young teen / YA age group book either way. The excerpt confirmed my inclination to think this could be a good book just for another age group. Overall, a decent gothic premise
