I was honestly intrigued just from the blurb--I love a good gothic fantasy, and the concept of a cursed lake always catches my intention!
I think the writing has a bit too much of "he did this" and "she did that"... but I can overlook that since I am intrigued by the story concept itself.
The cover isn't the most unique, but it's pretty. And I really love the chapter headers in this book!
