The cover already had me intrigued, but I was completely hooked after the first line! I don't always vibe with gothic, but this one was very well done and not too overpowering. THis author doesn't try to force anything and just lets the story unfold in a remarkably natural (for a supernatural book) way. I can't wait to uncover more!
