This looks like it will be promising. I love the haunted gothic vibes of the story so far, and I like the way the author writes. The idea of a slow burn gothic fantastic with a death god and a haunted lake is a very enticing one. The cover is beautiful and makes me think of the movie Crimson Peak, which is definitely a good thing!
