An interesting start to an interesting book

First, the I really like the cover. It is dynamic and bold and I was intrigued before even reading the first look of the book. The detailing on the book pages is beautiful as well. I like the dark feel of the book with the shadows of Arien, the sinister "monster of lakesedge" juxtaposed with the inherit sweetness and earthiness of Violeta.
