I have a good feeling about this book- despite it’s wrenchingly difficult and descriptive events. This a dark, moody, atmospheric novel but it’s also rich with emotion. The main character’s devotion to protecting her brother is touching. I get a lot of gothic vibes from this one, and horror in the sense of a harrowing and darkly magical environment. Very curious to see what happens next. Great cover too that captures well the beauty and mystery.
