Okay
Sadly, I was quite disappointed in this book. It wasn’t horrible, but I had quite a few issues with it.
First of all, Hunter was very hypocritical and was always blaming others on things he’s either done, or said. He would also act like he’s the only one that has issues with homophobia and presentment, when in reality a ton of his friends and band members either dealt with those issues, or racism.
I just didn’t like Hunter as a character and I couldn’t look past it since the whole story is about him. I also didn’t like the love interest. He was also pretty hypocritical and “i’m better than everyone else”.
All in all, I may recommend this to some people, but overall i did not enjoy it and don’t plan on recommending it to anybody except to a small group of people.
I’m also very sad since the cover for this book is just absolutely stunning. It makes me sad that the inside didn’t match the outside.
