The cover of Kiss & Tell has been an absolute favorite of mine for 2022. Contemporary YA is my favorite genre and age group to read so this has been on my most anticipated young adult books list.

I loved Adib Khorram’s Darius The Great Is Not Okay and Darius The Great Deserves Better. The coming of age theme was so amazing in the duology and I can’t wait to see what Khorram has in store.

Kiss & Tell reminds me of If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dierich, a book that I loved wholeheartedly. Boy bands are definitely not written about enough and I am all for reading more about them. There is so much to be done with themes here: Coming of age, being yourself despite outside influences, discovering yourself by yourself, in a band, in a relationship, and in a friendship.

I love the idea of Hunter finding out more about who he is after a serious breakup. Breakups, especially first breakups are so hard and can be even more difficult for teens who have a spotlight on them.
