At its base, this is a relatable story for everyone: how we deal with heartache, how we present ourselves to the world, and how we let it all influence us. This book goes a step further and includes marginalized groups and people definitely rarely seen in YA writings. I also loved that Hunter, while gay, is completely aware of the privileges he has. This book is absolutely for everybody willing to read it.
