I'm a huge fan of Adib Khorram and Darius the Great so I was excited to check out this first impression with a completely different cast of characters. Admittedly I have no idea what life as a boy band star might be like, but I'm definitely hooked and eager to see what happens next (to Hunter as well as to the entire band and opening band as they embark on their mega tour). I appreciate the sweet details that Khorram brings in when describing interactions between characters, highlighting their backgrounds and heritages, showing friendship and flirtation (and maybe more?) and even the disintegration or aftermath of a breakup.
