So I have never read "Darius the Great is Okay" but I have heard good things about it. Reading this new excerpt from the same author, I can see why. The epistolary style is especially fitting for the themes of the novel, as it's about how what the world sees and thinks differs from one's own individual struggles and reckoning. A smart and insightful choice for what otherwise promises to be a light spring read.
