I despise family members that demand women have babies for the sole purpose of making them "grandparents." Yet, this is exactly how this book begins. If I hadn't been sucked into the clear chemistry between Michael and Stella I would have put the book down instantly. But the author so eloquently frames these characters you can't help but want more of them.
