Jumping very quickly into what I assume will become the main plotline, author Helen Hoang creates a gender flipped Pretty Woman story sure to appeal to those looking for a smarter sexy beach read. While it uses a typical romantic paradigm, Jiang elevates it by culling from her own life in giving us a leading lady with a disability, who - despite her brilliant mathematical mind - can't quite figure the right equation for how love fits into her life.
