Kismet Connection was a sweet YA romance about two teenagers Madhuri and Arjun who have been friends most of their lives. Madhuri wants to try to change her fate and convinces Arjun into a dating experiment. This was a cute concept and fun how the two became a couple. I loved learning about the culture. I enjoyed the closeness of the family and how Madhuri’s family consider Arjun part of their family always. I hate that Madhuri felt that she could not be herself because other teeenagers including her ex friends made fun of her because of her culture. But I like the fact that she was able to overcome that and be herself and embrace her culture. I felt the writing was good. This was a quick read. I read it in one day. This is just a fun young adult romance with just a little teenage drama but a lot of family and close friends that stick together no matter what. I would recommend this book.
