I ended up liking this book more than I thought I would. I was not super big fan of the main female character as she was sort of annoying and self-centered. However, she did have decent character growth. I really liked the male main character a lot. He was really sweet. I did think the premise was fun, and it was an interesting fake dating story, something I am not usually fond of.
I thought the different family dynamics were interesting. It's been a minute since I read the book, so I can't quite recall all the major points in it, which probably isn't great. The story was very cute, but it just did not leave a long lasting impression. It was not a book I would go back to again and again to reread. For a first time easy read, it was decent. I do think a younger reader would like this book a lot more though because it is a teen fiction book.
Overall, it was worth the read.
