Although I read the first impression and really wanted to continue the book, once I got my hands on it and read further, I realized this book wasn't for me. It is geared toward a much younger audience than I am which resulted in me struggling to read it and not cringe. The characters were really immature, which makes sense for their age. However, it made it really difficult for me to read because I just wanted to shake some sense into them.

Even though this book wasn't for me, that's not to say that it isn't for someone else. For someone who is younger, probably 13-15, this book would be perfect for them. It goes through the struggles of dating in high school and how to deal with a close friend wanting to be more than friends.

I also want to say that I did really like how the Indian culture was represented in the book. It described a lot of terms, like Auntie, that I might not know otherwise.
