i’m not going to lie and say i’m a romance reader but when i read this i literally lost my mind, no kidding.
i loved the characters so much and the plot has me heavy.
it’s very sweet and cute but also deals with larger problems like familial issues as well as cultural in way that makes it easy to understand for the people who pretended to be ignorant.

being honest, this wasn’t a 5 star from be but it’s more of a mistake on my part since i don’t usually read romance but as everyone know, we all have different rating systems and all that.
and i just have to say, reading a book where the main characters are POC and there are real struggles and personality flaws that so many other authors are scared to write really makes me excited to see what she writes in the future.
i’m definitely going to be on the look out for when or if she writes another book but from what i’ve read so far, nothing can top this!!!
