This book overall was just an ok read. It was sweet but not the most memorable. There were a few times where I was really frustrated at the main female protagonist because of her adamancy related to her Kismat Experiment. But cultural references and especially the reference to Shah Rukh Khan is what made me give this book a minimum of three stars. I also loved the cover and the fact that it was a quick read in the end. Both the male protagonist Arjun and Madhuri’s (the main female protagonist) family were very sweet and supportive no matter what. Overall I believe that Madhuri’s flaws and adamancy made her a more relatable character especially because she was mostly adamant due to her academics which I can completely relate to. This was a pretty decent novel overall and I would like to read other novels by this author but it wasn’t a favorite in the end.
