To start off I’m not really a romance person but wanted to give this a try. I loved learning about Indian culture! That is mostly why I gave it 3 stars. I love Madhuri and Arjun but felt like both their personalities changed a lot through the book multiple times. Madhuri was confident then became very emotional and then became very unlike herself at the end. She also was making her own problems with loving Arjun which I didn’t like. I loved the relationship between Arjun and Auntie Iyer and was really reading it for them. I felt so bad for him from how his mom treated him and how Madhuri did as well. But at the end he became more confident with his situation and Madhuri which was what I really liked. Overall, the plot was not predictable and a very cozy quick read. My favorite character was probably Arjun who stayed himself through it all and was mostly a background character when Madhuri was involved.
