In this story we meet Ajun Mehta and Madhuri Iyer two Indian teens living in Southern California. On the day they are having their astrological chart read Ajun is very excited by the prophecy of his chart as it promises success in almost all aspects of his life. Including the chance to fall in love with his secret crush and longtime best friend Madhuri.Madhuri on the other hand sees her chart as predicting only failure and is determined to prove both it and her families first love curse wrong. Enlisting Ajun to help her she starts a scientific experiment she names The Kismat experiment.
