Kismat Connection was such a cute young adult romance. I don’t typically read romance books and wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this one, but I did find this to be a quick and enjoyable read. I loved the main characters Madhuri and Arjun and loved how their culture was incorporated throughout the book.
In this book, Madhuri convinces her best friend, Arjun that they should date for an experiment in order to prove that her star charts are wrong and prove that she has free will. Madhuri thought she had planned on all possible variables for her experiment, but she didn’t know that her childhood best friend Arjun had feelings for her.
This was my first time reading a book with the fake dating and friends to lovers trope, and I was surprised to find myself actually enjoying it. If you are looking for a young adult romance book you should consider checking this one out.
