The only thing I dislike is that it's both too slow and too fast- the romance took a while to build up, and some parts feel rather rushed. Overall, though, this is a really cute story with amazing cultural aspects. It's fake dating, which never misses, and Madhuri and Arjun are absolutely adorable. I wanted to read this book because I fell in love with the cover, but the story is even better. Madhuri tries really, really hard to fight her family's fate- that she will happily marry her first boyfriend- going so far as to scheme a false relationship between herself and her best friend, Arjun, but unbeknownst to her, he's been in love with her forever. We get insight into their families and how they interact, and their culture, as well as a lot of astrology, which was something I was never really interested in, but the story made it appealing. Kismat Connection is a lovely debut.
