A swoonworthy book with beautiful exploration of family dynamics!
KISMAT CONNECTION gave me WHEN DIMPLE MET RISHI vibes from the second I read the premise of the story and I was super excited to dig into it! I enjoyed how different Madhuri and Arjun were as characters and how their relationship grew throughout the course of the book. I found myself getting frustrated with Madhuri at times, but that's not a bad thing, as it means the story pulled me in and I was invested in what happened to the characters!
I also really loved Madhuri's mom--she was a fantastically written character in the book and I loved how much of a role she played in both Madhuri and Arjun's life. I appreciated how this book was more than a love story; it really explored some interesting family dynamics, specifically the relationship between children and their parents, as well as the family we're not born with, but the one that ends up nurturing us as we come of age.
