This was a cute read but I didn't fully connect to the story and that's not on the book but on me.
The book is told from two point-of-views and they come from Madhuri and Arjun. They were friends with Arjun already having feelings for Madhuri. I am not one for friends-to-lovers but I do think that it worked with the spin of the experimental dating. It was a fun twist.
There isn't too much build-up to the experimental dating so you just have to go with the flow. I think this is why I had a hard time connecting the relationship between them. Madhuri comes off as a bit snobbish and Arjun would do anything for her. It doesn't make her a bad character though because I think it adds to her growth and Arjun does help her.
It is on the shorter side and I also think that plays into finding it to be alright.
