I'll admit I'm quite excited about Kismat Connection by Ananya Devarajan. Does it appear to be a classic cliched story about friends to lovers? Yes. Do I care? Absolutely not. I love that it's main characters are Indian. I love the diversity put into the story. Additionally, I am excited to see how it plays out. Just because I can predict the end doesn't mean I know how the story will twist and turn. This looks to be one of those cozy rom-coms which, for me personally, are some of the most fun to read.
