This seems like a cute, YA romance read, and it has all of my favorite romance tropes - fated romance, friends to lovers, and fake dating! I also love the way the story contrasts Auntie Iyer’s mature wisdom and Madhuri’s youthful passion and determination.

My heart almost broke in two when Madhuri revealed to Arjun her plan to cheat fate in order to prove her family wrong, but I have a feeling destiny has something else planned for both of them. I love this kind of romance in books and would love to continue reading this adorable story!
