I can say with confidence that I've been here from the beginning. From when Ananya first announced her book deal to now, near its release, KISMAT CONNECTION has been on my most anticipated reads of 2023. Best friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes of all time and even from the first few chapters, it's clear Ananya writes it well. The pining! The "don't want to risk taking this relationship further in fear of losing the bestest friend I've ever had"! The "I've been in love with them for years and they've never known"! Throw in fake dating and I'm feral. I'm so excited to read more of Arjun wanting to be with Madhuri - his monologue about how any sort of stars or fate working in his favor wouldn't matter because Madhuri is so against them was painful. I love him already and can't wait for Madhuri to fall just as deeply in love with him as he, her. There's always something wonderful about a cynic finding love 💙
