I thought this book was perfect to read before the summer and right before Pride month. I love the character development in this book and I really enjoyed reading the author's writing of the different relationships between the characters. One of my favorite things about the book is the diversity and representation it included. Firstly, have two lead gay characters was amazing. I also like that the main characters are people of color. This is such a great book for young teenagers to read and be able to see themselves being represented in what they are reading. I also thought that these characters were really relatable which made the book that much more enjoyable. It was a book that made me happy and a really good escape to read. The cover does a perfect job of giving readers and idea of what to expect from what they are reading. I also loved the healthy and strong friendships that this book portrays. Highly recommend!
