Kings of B'more is a fun YA summertime read. From the brightly colored book dustjacket to the story itself, this is a pure fun time. What I liked about this the most was the fact that the main characters are both guys. This is something that you do not see much in YA contempory books. Another thing about this novel that was different from the books I read is that it's a queer story. The main characters have a true friendship and have to deal with something all teens deal with, growing up and moving away to start their grownup life. As someone who has already delt with this life change, yes, it can be hard coming to terms that the friends you have always had around you more than likely you will never see again. I smiled when I read this and that is all I really need to give this a thumbs up
