First thing, I love the writing style. The author wastes no time delving into how the characters feel and it gave me a lot of warm fuzzies. I can envision tearjerking moments on the horizon though and that’s not a bad thing. The deep friendship shared by the two main characters and seeing it grow into something more is just really touching and I already think highly of the story and characters. My only issue is with the third person perspective, this book definitely reads like it could have been first person perspective or maybe should have been for how personal so much of the inner monologues and thoughts of the characters are. Still a great first look. The cover is cute and I like the realistic art style.
