This reads as a younger YA book, something my 14 year old would enjoy reading. I do not like the cover which is a shame as I worry people will miss the strong writing inside. Reading it definitely had me remembering what it is like to be that age. I enjoyed the strong sense of Baltimore as the setting for the book too.
