Loved the prose and the way the characters came to life

I loved R. Eric Thomas's first book, a collection of memoir-based essays, so I was really curious to see what his fiction would be like. Kings of B'More does not dissapoint! While this is classified as YA, it has deep metaphors and poetic phrases that are so casually dropped, you might miss them. Harrison and Linus jump off the page and I'm so invested in their friendship already. A must read that I am definitely putting on my TBR!
