I cannot contain my joy at seeing this beautiful book! I have been a huge fan of R Eric Thomas and enjoy everything he has to say....from his newsletters on pop culture to his beautiful memoir in essays. I can't wait to see what he will do with this young adult book. I know that it will be poignant, funny and insightful as he is always a writer that captures those qualities.
I also think the premise of this book is an important one to add to the young adult population. I think a lot of young people who are in the middle of finding themselves will be able to see their lives represented in this book and feel joy, peace and recognition which is always important and necessary!
